武打童星出身的釋小龍在新片《聽見下雨的聲音》中飾演因為心儀的人愛上自己哥兒們，在旁默默守候的藝術家，他表示現實生活中，不會去搶哥兒們的女友。

他日前傳出歌手前女友何潔才剛嫁就擁新歡，與嫩模王若伊親密合照在網路瘋傳，對此，他說：「這是３年前的照片，王若伊是我好朋友的女朋友，３年前，我和何潔分手時就被拿出來炒作過，現在她（何潔）結婚，又被拿出來。」

他從小生活在父親創立的武術學校，他說父親是「習武之人」對他管教嚴格，「練功練不好就會被體罰，十幾歲以前，我都祈禱白天不要碰到爸爸，能躲就躲，不小心碰到他，渾身冒汗不自在。」他是「聽爸爸的話」的好孩子，連交女友都是爸爸一個口令他一個動作，「爸爸說我該是時間交女朋友了，我就努力去找，但現在還沒碰到合得來的。」

他未來希望回武打老本行拍功夫片，他７歲就和甄子丹在《賭聖２：街頭賭聖》合作，「當時我還在掉牙，印象中子丹大哥很厲害，那時候就是宇宙最強了，腿法尤其厲害。」
