　　黃金進一步下挫，且速度較興業銀行空頭於4月的預測更快，促使該銀行於周一進一步調降了黃金於年底的預估。

在最新的報告中，分析師Michael Haigh預期，至12月31日，黃金將下跌至每盎司1200美元，低於4月2日預估的1375美元。

他在報告中寫到：「我們相信黃金在4月的劇烈賣壓，加上Fed於年底前開始縮減購債計劃的展望，使得許多投資人對黃金的看法為之改觀。這可能使得今年與明年，黃金EFT持續遭受大舉賣壓。自4月賣壓以來，ETF的黃金賣壓平均每月約為100公噸。我們預期持續的ETF賣壓，將超越珠寶業與金幣的上升需求。因而我們調降了2013年第四季黃金預測至每盎司1200美元。」

這意味黃金價格將進一步大跌13.2%。至上周五，近月黃金合約今年大跌了17.2%。
