潮州新站將啟用 鐵安演習

潮州新火車站將於25日啟用西正線，新穎的火車站，讓人耳目一新。

台鐵高架化工程屏東潮州段工程，本月25日起將啟用單線高架，不但沿線5個新車站都將配合啟用，此一路段原有的20個平交道也將一併走入歷史，為配合新站啟用，台鐵特種防護團昨天還在潮州新站舉行鐵安演習，以維護旅客安全。

鐵路工程局第一工程段長洪坤瑲表示，台鐵高架化工程採半半施工法，25日起會先啟用西正線，讓火車先走高架，再接續東正線工程，此一路段全長16公里，從歸來、麟洛、西勢、竹田及潮州等站也都會配合西正線的開通，先啟用部分火車站體。

為了配合新站啟用，台鐵特種防護團高雄區大隊昨天特別在潮州新站舉行鐵安演習，假設列車行駛時突然遇到六級以上強震，火車站如何在最短時間疏散旅客、處理受傷旅客及發現爆裂物的因應措施。
