專利蟑螂猖獗 歐巴馬下令限縮

（路透華盛頓4日電）美國總統歐巴馬今天下令行政部門訂定規範，限制「專利蟑螂」濫用專利興訟謀利。蘋果（Apple）、谷歌（Google）等大科技公司推動立法，限縮專利蟑螂興訟的次數。

白宮說，歐巴馬指示美國專利商標局（Patent andTrademark Office）研擬新規定，讓專利蟑螂更難利用空殼公司來隱藏他們的活動。 新規定將要求專利申請人及專利權所有者在涉及專利訴訟時，更新所有權資訊。 白宮說，專利商標局也將加強對審查人員的訓練，以免軟體專利涵蓋過於廣泛的請求權，並為面臨專利蟑螂訴訟的零售業者和消費者，提供更清楚資訊。中央社(翻譯)
