新竹車站百年 老火車鳴笛慶賀

（中央社記者林瑞益新竹9日電）新竹火車站慶祝100歲生日，新竹郵局今天發行紀念郵票，新竹市政府情商台灣鐵路管理局派出蒸汽老火車DT668，鳴笛慶賀。

市府表示，為慶祝新竹火車站百年，舉辦一系列活動，今年3月31日已邀請蒸汽老火車CK124到新竹火車站慶祝，今天再邀請蒸汽老火車DT668到場，相當特別。

市府說，DT668的歷史悠久，於1939年引進台灣，一次可拉動10節車廂，超越其他同型貨運用的蒸汽火車，在昔日是運能最佳的客、貨兩用火車頭，堪稱台灣鐵道史上噸位最大的蒸汽火車。

許多民眾到場一睹DT668的風采，拿出相機拍照與合影。新竹市長許明財表示，台鐵歷經126年寒暑，在國家進程中促進經濟繁榮及人文發展，貢獻卓著，感謝台鐵安排DT668蒸汽火車造訪風城，讓新竹民眾、全國郵迷及鐵道迷們一睹老火車的風采。

新竹郵局也發行紀念郵票、明信片，在火車站前設攤，準備紀念郵戳章，供民眾蓋章留念。此外，新竹郵局即日起到6月16日在新竹市遠東巨城購物中心舉辦百年郵展，歡迎民眾到場參觀。1020609
