關鍵數字／防止H5N1 全球撲殺家禽4億隻

2004年，H5N1病毒對家禽有高病原性，造成歐、亞、非嚴重的家禽疫情。為此，全球迄今撲殺4億隻家禽，損失200億美金。

63國因撲殺杜絕疫情，但到今年，仍有5國有疫情。因此，台灣傳統市場禁宰及販售活禽措施上路，應有助控制H5N1及H7N9流感疫情。
