【周佩萱╱綜合報導】烏克蘭政府上周宣布中止和歐盟簽署自由貿易和政治協議，表示因為烏克蘭承擔不起和俄羅斯中斷經貿關係，引發支持歐盟的烏克蘭民眾大為不滿，24日再度發起示威抗議，數千人湧上基輔街頭遊行，據稱是2004年橘色革命以來，最大規模抗議。

根據當地警方表示抗議人數約有2萬3千人，不過發起抗議的人稱24日有超過10萬人參與遊行，部分抗議者試圖闖入政府大樓，遭警方用煙霧彈鎮壓，警方還用警棍和催淚瓦斯嚇阻抗議民眾，雙方爆發激烈衝突。

支持政府的民眾也在同天發起遊行，表示歐盟根本沒有提供任何好處給烏克蘭，只是增加烏克蘭的負擔。

由於俄羅斯也有自己的關貿聯盟，目前成員有白俄羅斯和哈薩克，俄國一直力促烏克蘭加入，烏克蘭不可能同時採用2套貿易協定，只能擇其一加入。
