經濟部20日公佈，5月外銷訂單金額363.3億美元，較上月增加6.4億美元或1.8%，不過，與去年同期相比仍下滑0.4%，年增率為連續第4個月衰退。

經濟部表示，以主要訂單貨品類別來看，5月以資訊通信及塑橡膠製品表現較佳，月增及年增率皆呈正成長。

經濟部也表示，主要接單地區部分，5月以自東協六國接單表現最好，年成長10.7%。

展望6月，經濟部表示，由於行動裝置需求續增，各品牌大廠陸續推出智慧型手持裝置新品以因應暑假需求旺季，加上液晶電視積極搶市，可望帶動上游半導體設計、電子零組件與代工組裝業者之接單成長；加上塑化接單已止跌回升，基本金屬及機械接單減幅有縮小現象，預期6月接單將持續回穩。

不過，經濟部也指出，歐洲需求持續低迷、中國大陸經濟成長放緩、美國財政減支及預期量化寬鬆退場等風險，加上科技產業之國際競爭激烈，均為影響外銷訂單之不確定因素。.

經濟部並表示，據外銷訂單受查廠商對6月接單看法，預期接單將較5月增加之廠商家數占18.5%，持平者占59.6%，而減少者占22.0%，以家數計算之外銷訂單動向指數為48.2；按接單金額加權計算動向指數為53.5，顯示6月外銷訂單金額將較5月略增。
