希臘撙節 關閉公共廣播電台

（法新社雅典11日電） 希臘政府今天宣布立即關閉公共電視與廣播電台ERT，這項驚人的行動影響近2700個工作。

政府宣布此事後，數千人立即趕往ERT位於雅典北郊的總部，以示支持ERT。

政府發言人克迪柯格魯（Simos Kedikoglou）在記者會表示：「ERT非常不透明，而且令人難以置信的浪費，這種情況現在結束。」

在ERT員工連月來發動罷工，反對希臘的三大國際債主要求重整ERT的計畫後，政府採取這項行動。

克迪柯格魯表示，ERT將在日後依照新的形式重新營運，並雇用較目前少許多的人員。

歐洲廣播聯盟（European Broadcasting Union）呼籲希臘取消這項行動，直稱這是對媒體獨立的重大打擊。
