籌建18年 濟興長青園啟用

〔自由時報記者蘇福男／燕巢報導〕歷經十八年籌建的濟興長青園老人長期照顧中心，四月底終於取得營運許可，目前已有兩名長者入住，濟興長青基金會昨舉行啟用典禮，一路護持的資深會員和志工不禁紅了眼眶。

位於樹德科技大學斜對面的濟興長青園，以「連續性照顧」和「家庭式單元」為建園理念，提供失智照護（三十六名）和長期照護（七十六名）服務，建地近三千坪，目前建園花費約一億一千萬元，其中，政府補助三千萬元，其餘由社會各界善心人士捐助。

建園十八年期間，濟興歷經土地租賃受阻、土地變更、大學城計畫影響用地、原物料大漲工程費窘迫、建商停工等重重橫阻，今年四月底終於取得營運許可，昨由高雄市府副秘書長蘇麗瓊、立委林岱樺、李昆澤和籌募建園愛心代表共六十六人剪綵啟用。

濟興長青園建園主委蘇成達表示，基金會從八十三年慈善會行善階段，發掘許多貧困無依老人無法獲得政府補助的問題，因而發起為老築巢的行動。由於有社會各界的愛心涓滴成河，長青園才能開張，在長者陸續進住後，希望各界能繼續為各項安老設施設備提供協助。
