亞洲盃資格賽／與緬甸踢和　中華隊無緣會內賽

總在門前欠缺臨門一腳，中華隊就是攻不下緬甸球門，最後方0：0和局收場，無緣晉級2014年亞洲盃會內賽。

由於淨球數優勢，緬甸只要踢和就取得會內賽門票，除了一開始攻勢稍猛，多次進犯中華隊後場，之後施展嚴密防守，防守有偏粗暴與危險動作出現。

中華隊在門前總缺臨門一腳，進攻指標之一的余秀菁表示，前場進攻的處理球還是不夠冷靜，對這樣的結果感到很可惜。

教練團對於執法裁判尺度頗有微詞，但顏士凱指出，球員的執行能力很好，也展現出對抗性，他要為結果負起責任，將請辭國家隊總教練的職務。
