德促以巴重啟和平談判

（法新社巴勒斯坦自治區雷馬拉18日電） 德國外交部長威斯特威勒（Guido Westerwelle）今天表示，德國正準備協助創造條件，讓以色列和巴勒斯坦恢復和平談判。

外交部聲明引述威斯特威勒的話表示，「德國已準備好，要協助創造相互信任的氣氛」，以恢復和平談判。威斯特威勒目前正在以色列及巴勒斯坦自治區進行兩天訪問。

他說：「最重要的事情，就是以色列和巴勒斯坦恢復直接談判。」威斯特威勒在雷馬拉（Ramallah）會晤即將卸任的巴勒斯坦總理法亞德（Salam Fayyad）。

威斯特威勒也強調，和平解決對巴勒斯坦自治區經濟發展至關重要。

他也呼應俄羅斯和美國提議，呼籲針對敘利亞內戰問題召開國際會議。

他表示，就當前情勢來看，唯有政治解決「能帶給敘利亞穩定及和平，以及民主的結果」。（譯者：中央社劉文瑜）
