日政府因領土標識通知地方政府停用谷歌地圖

共同社報導，由於谷歌提供的地圖中，出現了把日本主張為固有領土的北方四島和竹島標示為外國地名，日本中央政府通知全國地方政府和國立大學等，不在主頁上使用谷歌地圖。

報導說，谷歌地圖有多國版本，但一些地名在大多數版本中都標為日本以外語言名稱，例如將竹島標為韓語名「獨島」、尖閣諸島標為「釣魚台列島」、北方四島標為俄語名等。
