前偶像團體「新好男孩」（Backstreet Boys）的成員尼克卡特（Nick Carter），最近出書自爆，他會沉淪毒海並酗酒10年，都是前女友芭莉絲希爾頓（Paris Hilton）害的！

現年33歲的尼克，在自傳《Facing the Music and Living to Talk About It》中，形容芭莉絲是「最差勁的拍拖對象」，兩人交往期間，芭莉絲帶他瘋狂參加派對，害他的生活變得一團糟，陷入萬劫不復，不僅酗酒還吸毒，最後變成悲劇，導致他在2010年因持有古柯鹼被逮捕。

尼克在書中坦承：「情況最糟糕的時候，我一個晚上可以同時嗑迷幻藥、古柯鹼，並喝乾一大瓶伏特加酒！」還因為服食過量的安非他命，得到嚴重的憂鬱症。他並透露，直到2008年「新好男孩」在歐洲開演唱會期間，他感到心臟不適，被醫生診斷出患有可導致死亡的心肌症後，才迫使他戒毒戒酒，他告訴自己：「我不想死！」

不過尼克卡特並不是家裡唯一酗酒又吸毒的孩子，他的弟弟艾倫卡特（Aaron Carter）和妹妹李絲莉（Leslie）也有同樣問題，艾倫曾經進出勒戒所好幾次，李絲莉則不幸在2012年1月，年紀輕輕25歲就因吸毒過量致死。
