花旗集團公布第2季淨利為42億美元、每股1.34美元，營收上升號貸款損失下降，獲利強勁，支撐股市上漲，但零售銷售報告疲弱，漲幅受限，美國股市周一終場溫和收高。

該漲幅仍推升道瓊與S&P 500指數至收盤新高點，Nasdaq指數也上漲至逾10年高點。
