台灣房屋調查五都預售、中古屋房價行情，發現新古屋和預售屋平均價差達12.5%至34.21%間，而中古屋和預售屋平均價差則約22.92%至53.94%，其中台中八期一帶中古屋和預售屋價差最高，達53.94%，價差金額最高的是台北市內湖區，最高可差60萬元。

台灣房屋智庫發言人張旭嵐分析，台中南屯八期重劃區受惠於公園綠地多，交通建設綿密完整，周邊新建案單價、總價也都相對較高，因此跟十年以上的舊公寓相較價差達到53.94%，。至於台北市內湖區中古屋和預售屋價差也達51.28%，主要因為近年內湖推案量大增，建案越蓋越高級，房價成長幅度大，不少新建案開價上百萬，不過因為內湖地區中古屋也多，若願意往東湖尋寶還是有45~50萬元的行情，價格差距近一半。
