【林修卉╱台北報導】民進黨立委尤美女今陪同卡債受害人自救會舉行「還越多、欠越多！高利追債幾時休？」記者會，尤美女表示，一位李姓女老師幫哥哥以信用 卡借款300萬元開公司，歷經6年，加上手續費、利息與違約金已還銀行400萬元，結果清算本金、利息與手續費後，李老師還要還1000萬元，顯見利息過 高不合理，她主張修改《民法》，利息應從20%調降至12%，而銀行巧立的各種名目，包括違約金、手續費都應視為利息。

卡債受害人自救會表示，法務部及金管會在低利息時代，應積極表態支持降低利息的修法，並呼籲立法院在這會期儘速通過法案，才能讓所有可能被高利追債一世的人，有脫離債務地獄的可能。
