來自美國加州的WaterCar車廠，推出一部水陸兩用越野車Panther，讓駕駛增添更多樂趣，它不但可在路上行駛、在沙石路上也可輕鬆行進，厲害的是，Panther還可轉換成船艇模式遨遊在水中，對於身處悶熱夏天的人們來說，是很棒的享受。

現今的汽車技術與創意越來越進步，不僅有會飛的、還有可在水上走的車；像是油電混合動力的Terrafugia TF-X飛行概念車，以及MINI Cooper 「敞篷船」等，發明者的有趣想法，都很吸引人。而Panther的出現，的確也可抓到許多人目光

WaterCar聲稱，Panther是世界上速度最快的水陸兩棲車，搭載來自Acura MDX的3.7升V6引擎，擁有250hp馬力，重量約1360公斤，外型設計上有點類似Jeep Wrangler；它在一般道路的速度可達約130km/h，在水中速度約70 km/h，且在下水前、僅需15秒就可轉換成船艇模式，透過Jet drive系統在水中行進。

研發這輛車耗費不少時間與心血，WaterCar表示，經過14多年的努力才開發出來，並獲得27項專利，投入的勞力與時間相當多。在Panther的宣傳影片與照片中，有不少比基尼辣妹入鏡，看得出她們很享受這輛兩棲車的神奇與樂趣。
